Uway offers several extruder designs to achieve the production and quality levels that you seek.

Dryers

Hopper dryers offer an effective and cost efficient method for plastic material drying. This simplistic system uses heated air to condition the material before processing with improves processing stability for most polymers. Hot air blows evenly from the bottom to the top of the hopper to improve the drying efficiency. These units can be either mounted directly on the extruder or free standing.
Dehumidifying Dryers
  • Dehumidifying dryers use heated dehumidified air to reduce the moisture content.
  • Dehumidifiers are required if a polymer requires a low level of moisture for proper processing.
  • These units are free-standing.
Crystallizer Dryers
  • Crystallizer Dryers with capacities up to 1.5 T per hour for PET for orienting the molecules within the PET material to create a clear sheet. We can provide up to 1.5 ton per hour units to match our PET single screw systems.

Material Loading

  • Vacuum loaders are easy to operate, low maintenance, and convenient to install.
  • Floor roller loaders can process up to 1500 kgs (3300 lbs) per hour.
